“Lord of the universe, whoever you are, please spare my life and I will be your witness!”
This was the desperate prayer of 16-year-old, Setan Lee, calling out to the Lord that he had never known, as he was about to be brutally bludgeoned to death by a bamboo rod in the hands of the Khmer Rouge soldier. Miraculously God answered Setan’s prayer, spared his life, and set him apart for his purpose.
Glory to Jesus!

After years of serving God in Cambodia, Setan had a strong call from God to bring the good news of salvation to the Khmer Rouge leadership. It was so fearful and difficult to face going to meet with these people who had killed so many and continued to terrorize the country. However, Setan obeyed the call of God and went. God used his obedience to bring salvation to these leaders. The transformed lives of the Khmer Rouge leaders and soldiers led to the end of the long and brutal civil war.
